The grand lady has stood the test of time!
This grand dame has a few wrinkles, but she's a true gem! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of amenities in the room. So close to everything you want to see and do in Interlaken. The added treat of a restaurant serving Swiss fondue made our stay perfect.

Themendinner „Journey into the Past“
Last night I attended the themed dinner "Journey into the Past." The focus was on the hotel's 150-year history—closely linked to the Krebs family—as well as the development of Interlaken. The Ritschard wine merchant, represented by Philippe Ritschard, presented wines perfectly paired with each course. Historian Michael Frei from Bern traced Interlaken's fascinating journey: from the early whey cures and the Krebs family to the sale of the hotel and its subsequent development under new owners. For me, it was a truly exceptional event where everything came together perfectly: staff in carefully selected period clothing, an exquisite menu, harmoniously paired wines, and an overall welcoming atmosphere. It was hospitality in the truest sense of the word. Many thanks to Director Oliver Grob and everyone involved who contributed to this special evening.
